All orders are deemed offers for you to purchase our products. We may accept your offer by issuing a confirmatory e-mail and/or mobile confirmation of the products specified in your order. Our acceptance of each such offer is expressly subject to and conditioned on your assent to these terms and conditions of sale. No other terms and conditions will apply.
When you visit https://melam.com/or send e-mails to us, you are communicating with us electronically. By communicating with us, you consent to receive communication from us electronically. We will communicate with you by e-mail or by posting notices on our website. You agree that all agreements, notices, disclosures, and other communications that we provide to you electronically satisfy any legal requirement that such communication be in writing.
All prices posted on this website are subject to change without notice. Prices prevailing at commencement of placing the order will apply. Posted prices do includes all taxes and charges. In case there are any additional charges or taxes the same will be mentioned on the website.
We accept payment by net-banking, credit card, debit card, cash card, mobile payments and Cash on Delivery.
We ship across India covering more than 4,000 PIN codes! Please check availability of shipping services by entering your pincode in the product details page. Shipping schedules are estimates only and cannot be guaranteed. We are not liable for any delays in the shipments. Title and risk of loss and damages pass on to you upon the products delivery to you. Shipping charges of Rs. 50 apply on the product value.
We will accept the return of the products, provided such return is for products that are damaged during transit, defective, wrongly delivered, wrong product, incomplete package etc. subject to the condition that we are informed about such discrepancies within 72 hours from the date of receipt of the product and provided that the products are returned in their original condition.
AVA Group offers 30 days replacement guarantee for all products sold on Melam, under certain conditions which are mentioned below. Customers will notify us of any damage or defect within 72 hours from the date of receipt of delivery of the products, in case customer fails to inform AVA Group within the stipulated time frame, AVA Group reserves the right to accept or reject such request at its discretion. AVA Group will replace the defective product with a brand new product at no extra cost.
AVA Group will try to replace the specific product ordered. However, the company reserves the right to offer an alternate product in case the product is out of stock/ production.
The 30days replacement guarantee is valid only in cases of manufacturing defects and transport damages and is invalid in cases of damages due to normal wear & tear and negligence on part of the customer. The return policy is also not valid for certain products such as Cakes, Flowers, gifts, etc. Should customers come across any issue with such products, they are advised to contact customer service within 72 hours, failing which we may decide not take a request for replacement.
Digital content such as e-books is not returnable at all.
Any item additions, quantity changes or specification changes made to accepted orders will be modified in the order details. All sales are final, provided, however, item cancellations and quantity reductions may be made before the order is shipped. We may, without liability, cancel any accepted order before shipment if our credit department does not approve your credit or if there are other problems with the payment mode selected by you.
If any orders are cancelled by you after procurement, but before being shipped by Melam, then Melam will charge restocking fee applicable as per the product category. International Books will attract a restocking fee of 25% of the order value. All other orders will attract a restocking fee of 10% of the order value. Refund will be made after deducting such restocking fee as applicable within 7-10 working days.
Only a registered member can request for our product samples. Every User / Individual can create one account and if a User / Individual opens more than one account, then AVA Group reserves the right to delete all the accounts of the concerned individual and take appropriate action against him / her.
Suspension and/or cancellation of membership may result in the forfeiture of all the samples that haven’t been dispatched as yet. Sample request once given cannot be cancelled, withdrawn, returned or changed. AVA Group reserves the right to discontinue benefits offered under the program to any member who in the opinion of AVA Group is using the program in a manner inconsistent with the terms and conditions or intent of the program or any portion of the program. AVA Group also reserves the right to discontinue the benefits for any member who acts in a manner inconsistent with local or state laws, statutes or ordinances. AVA Group reserves the right to add, modify, delete or otherwise change any of the rules, conditions and benefits of the programme. The product dispatched to the user is a free sample and is not meant for sale. Hence, it is of no commercial value.
AVA Group may inform the user of the dispatch and delivery details of the Product / Sample Ordered, by sending an SMS for each (dispatch and delivery) on the mobile number as available in the AVA Group Database and/or on the email ID as provided during registration. If the participant is not reachable at the mailing address available in the AVA Group Database, AVA Group will inform the participant about the same by sending another SMS and/or email.
1. AVA Group will take at least a minimum of 8 – 10 weeks to process the sample request. AVA Group will endeavour to keep the member informed of any delay.
2. All taxes as applicable and incidental expenditures in connection with the sample request will be borne by the member.
3. AVA Group will not have any liability towards any taxes, or other expenditures or the like which may apply to this Sampling program or sample requested hereunder.
4. Sample request is only valid for participating brands in Sampling Program as indicated on the website.
5. Members shall take open delivery of the samples from the courier Members are requested not to accept damaged/ opened parcels. AVA Group shall not entertain any complaints post acknowledgement/delivery/acceptance of the samples by the members.
6. Each household will get only one sample per brand and AVA Group has the right to reject the sample request from any consumer
7. AVA Group will not take any liability of any loss or damage of sample in transit
8. Currently AVA Group will dispatch samples only in the four South States.
Melam grants you a limited license to access and make personal use of this website and not to download (other than page caching) or modify it, or any portion of it, except with express written consent of https://melam.com/.

As discussed further in the website Privacy Policy, Melam does sell products for children, but it sells them to adults. Melam and its affiliates reserve the right to refuse service, terminate accounts, remove or edit content, or cancel orders in their sole discretion.
